Family pics

Hello again! Just wanted to add in a pic of the family with Hilary home now for Easter.

People have asked several times for a whole family pic, but it seems as I look back at our blog entries, we've not been able to post one for a while!

Also, we wrote about a german missionary coming from SIL, (Wycliffe Bible Translators to Americans.) Her name is Karin, and she is here to work on the Shannara Senefou language.

It is interesting, this language is one targeted by the Mali government for literacy.

If they are going to concentrate on this people group to be able to read their own language, what better time to be working so that they can have the Word of God to read?

We are excited about this project. While it will take Karin and a team of translators anywhere from 10 - 20 years to years to finish the Bible translation, it won't be as many as 3-4 years before the people could have a Bible portion ready to read! Many times, the missionaries have to work on helping the people to read as well, but in this case, the government is targeting them for literacy! Thank you Lord!
